Frozen Conflicts: Between War and Peace

The project, "Frozen Conflicts: Between War and Peace," focuses on unresolved territorial conflicts that constantly oscillate between war and peace. It aims to remove this modern type of conflict, which often results in unrecognised de facto states, from the post-Soviet space, to shed light on its (post-) imperial dimension, and to propose a new conceptual framework that can be applied to such conflicts worldwide. The book will be published as a paperback in 2026 by C.H. Beck Publishers.
