Visit us at the EU OPEN HOUSE event at the German Embassy

May 11, 2022

On Saturday, May 14, from 10 AM to 4 PM, the EU OPEN HOUSE will return.

To celebrate the anniversary of the signing of the Schuman Declaration on May 9, 1950, which established the European Coal and Steel Community, a multinational entity that would eventually become the European Union as we know it today, the EU and its Embassies open their doors to the public for a day of culture, food, music, and more. This year, the German Historical Institute Washington will be represented at the German Embassy. Come stop by and learn more about our research projects, fellowship programs, publications, and public events. No registration, tickets, or passport is required.
