Max Weber Stiftung launches virtual "Historians on Democracy: A Transatlantic Conversation Series"

The series will explore the past and present of democracy through lively conversations with historians working around the world on questions related to the rise and fall of democratic orders.

On April 8, 2025 join us for the first panel in the series "Historians on Democracy" featuring historians working in Germany and the US. The series is an initiative of Christina Morina (Bielefeld University), who currently teaches at the New School for Social Research in New York, and is a member of the Academic Advisory Board of the GHI Washington. Ute Frevert will moderate the first discussion with a high-calibre line-up.
