GHI Visiting Fellow alumnus Jan Hansen awarded Feodor-Lynen-Fellowship

Congratulations to Jan Hansen who received a Feodor-Lynen-Fellowship from Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung.
The fellowship will support him for a 18-month research stay at the University of Southern California (USC) History Department & Max Kade Center. Previously, Hansen was a visiting fellow at GHI Washington for the 2017-18 academic year where he focused on his research project dealing with urban infrastructure and everyday life in Los Angeles from 1860 to 1940.
