GHI Director Simone Lässig invited to join the academic board of the Deutsches Schiffahrts Museum

GHI Director Simone Lässig is honored to join the academic board of the Deutsches Schiffahrts Museum/Leibniz-Institut für Maritime Geschichte (DSM) in Bremerhaven. The Deutsche Schifffahrtsmuseum is one of eight national research museums within the Leibniz Association in Germany. In addition to permanent exhibitions and rotating special exhibits, the DSM is an active archive and an interdisciplinary humanities research center for German maritime history, with a particular focus on the ecological, economic, technical and social circumstances that have influenced the relationship between humans and maritime spaces.
