13th Gerald D. Feldman Memorial Lecture at the German Historical Institute Washington with Celia Applegate

On May 12, 2022, GHI Washington is honored to welcome Celia Applegate (Vanderbilt University) as the speaker of the 13th Gerald D. Feldman Memorial Lecture.
Prof. Applegate will speak about “Germans and their Music in the Time of War, 1914-1919.” The talk will be moderated by the Friends' board chairman Kenneth Ledford (Case Western Reserve University). Please note, as the GHI returns to hosting its first in-person events since 2020, it is required that the attendees adhere to the institute’s vaccination and mask standards to ensure the safety of everyone.
The Gerald D. Feldman Memorial Lecture was established by the Friends of the German Historical Institute in 2010 to honor the legacy and achievements of Gerald D. Feldman (1937–2007).
