What Crisis? Speculation, Corruption, and the State of Emergency during the Great Depression

Martin H. Geyer is Professor of Modern History at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Much of his work has focused on the history of twentieth-century Germany and the United States as well as the history of social policy and the welfare state. He is currently writing a history of political scandals during the interwar period.
