Text Mining with Voyant Tools

This workshop is an introduction to text analysis with “Voyant Tools,” which is a web-based text reading and analysis environment. It is a scholarly project that is designed to facilitate reading and interpretive practices for digital humanities students and scholars as well as for the general public. In this workshop, participants will learn basic concepts of text analysis (text mining and visualization) and develop critical awareness of Voyant Tools’ functionality and value as a potential research tool.
