Mark Stoneman joined the GHI as an editor in 2010. His responsibilities include two blogs, History of Knowledge and Migrant Knowledge, as well as the Worlds of Consumption series. He has also been helping with German History in Documents and Images.
Mark earned his PhD in history from Georgetown University (Washington, DC), his MA from the University of Augsburg (Germany), and his BA from Dartmouth College (Hanover, NH). His research has revolved around the interactions of militaries, societies, and war in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
