Fall 2020 Deadline for GHI Short-term Research Fellowships Suspended

The call for applications for the next short-term research fellowship (Oct. 2020) has been cancelled.
The GHI has decided to cancel its call for applications for the next deadline for short-term research fellowships. The October 1, 2020 deadline will be suspended because of safety concerns in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, ongoing restrictions on travel, and uncertainty about the operating status of archives and libraries in the U.S.
We hope that the situation will improve by the program’s following scheduled deadline on April 1, 2021, and that successful applicants will then be able to commence their research as early as July 1, 2021. All other deadlines for GHI fellowships (such as the deadline for visiting fellowships on Dec. 1, 2020) remain in place for now.
