Biographical Summary

Andrea Wiegeshoff is Assistant Professor (Akademische Rätin auf Zeit) at the University of Marburg. She received her PhD in modern history from the University of Marburg in 2011 and is currently engaged in her second book project. From 2006 to 2014, she worked as a project coordinator and research assistant of the Independent Historians Commission to Clear Up the History of the German Foreign Office in the National Socialist Period and in the Federal Republic and as a policy advisor for the German Council of Science and Humanities. In 2014, she re-joined the Department of History at the University of Marburg.
