Biographical Summary

Anne Clara Schenderlein is a Research Fellow at the German Historical Institute in Washington, D.C. Prior to coming to the Institute, she taught at the University of California, San Diego where she received her PhD with a dissertation on German Jewish refugees in the United States and relationships to Germany from 1938 to 1988. Her current research focuses on American Jewish boycott and consumption of German products.
