preparation of derivative works, public performance and display.
I herein warrant that I have not assigned or in any manner
encumbered or impaired any of the aforementioned rights in my
oral memoir.

DEED OF GIFT AGREEMENT

convey, and assign to ___________________________, which is
currently in possession of my oral memoir consisting of
__________________, to have and to hold the same absolutely and
forever. I understand that ______________________ will use my
oral memoir for such historical and scholarly purposes as they
see fit and that by this conveyance I relinquish:
1. All legal title and literary property rights which I have or
may be deemed to have in said work.
2. All my rights, title and interest in copyright which I have
or may be deemed to have in said work and more particularly
the exclusive rights of reproduction, distribution,

AGREEMENT FOR WORK MADE FOR HIRE
_____________________________ hereinafter called AUTHOR and
_____________________________ hereinafter called INTERVIEWER
enter into the following agreement on ______________, _____.
WHEREAS AUTHOR has conceived of an original work of authorship
relating to the ongoing creation of oral histories;
WHEREAS AUTHOR has specially ordered and commissioned
INTERVIEWER to conduct oral history interviews which are to be
part of the AUTHOR'S collective/supplemental work or compilation;
WHEREAS INTERVIEWER intends that the copyright to the work/works
that INTERVIEWER is to prepare, as indicated above, is to be
owned by the AUTHOR as the author is defined by 17 U.S.C. 201 (b);
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and agreements
contained herein and other good and valuable consideration, the
receipt and adequacy of which is hereby acknowledged, AUTHOR and
INTERVIEWER hereby agree as follows: The parties hereby
expressly agree by this written instrument, signed below by the
parties that all interviews conducted by INTERVIEWER pursuant to
this agreement shall be CONSIDERED A WORK MADE FOR HIRE, as
defined by 17 U.S.C. 101 (2).
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Agreement
effective as of the date first written above.

AUTHOR INTERVIEWER
ASSIGNMENT OF COPYRIGHT IN A LITERARY WORK INTENDED AS A
WORK MADE FOR HIRE
THIS AGREEMENT entered into effective as of the _____ day of
_______, ____ by and between _______________, of ______________,
(hereinafter referred to as "ASSIGNEE"), and _________________,
of __________ (hereinafter referred to as "INTERVIEWER-ASSIGNOR").
WHEREAS Assignee conceived of an original work of authorship
relating to oral history interviews with:

WHEREAS Assignee has specially ordered and commissioned
Interviewer-Assignor to conduct said interviews according to
Assignee's specifications and control;
WHEREAS Interviewer-Assignor intended that the copyright to the
interviews that Assignor prepared, as indicated above, would be
owned by Assignee, whether by joint authorship and/or by
assignment;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants and agreements
contained herein, and other good and valuable consideration, the
receipt and adequacy of which is hereby acknowledged, Assignee
and Interviewer-Assignor hereby agree as follows:
1. Interviewer-Assignor hereby assigns to Assignee, his legal
representatives, successors, and assigns, all of Interviewer-
Assignor's right, title, interest and ownership in the above
indicated interviews, including the right to procure the
copyright thereon and the right to secure any renewals,
reissues, and extensions of any such copyright.
2. Assignee shall be entitled to the sole and exclusive benefit
of the interview, including the copyright thereto, and
whenever required by Assignee, Interviewer-Assignor will at
Assignee's cost execute and do all other documents of
assignment for vesting the Interviews and the full and
exclusive benefit and copyright thereof in ASSIGNEE.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have executed this Agreement
effective as of the date first written above.
