World History Association Book Prize to Nature and Power Print

Nature and Power: A Global History of the Environment by Joachim Radkau has been named the joint winner of the World History Association's 2009 Book Prize. The prize is awarded annually to recognize "outstanding contributions to the field of world history." Nature and Power, which was published in the Publications of the German Historical Institute series with Cambridge University Press, shares the prize with Melancholy Order: Asian Migration and the Globalization of Borders by Adam M.
