The Friends of the German Historical Institute Washington, DC are seeking to establish an endowment to support an annual Gerald D. Feldman Lecture.
Gerald D. Feldman, 1937 - 2007
Gerald Feldman was a key figure in reappraising the role of German corporations during the National Socialist regime, and he served as an advisor and contributor on significant projects in the field. He also sat on the editorial board of the journal Contemporary European History for more than fifteen years, served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Friends of the GHI and as director of Berkeley’s Center for German and European Studies. The Gerald D. Feldman Lecture Series will commemorate these and his many other achievements. The Friends of the German Historical Institute ask for your support in establishing the Gerald D. Feldman Lecture series endowment fund.
