An Exhibition at the GHI -- February 01, 2008 - May 31, 2008

In 1894, historian Reuben Gold Thwaites and his family journeyed nearly 1,100 miles down the Monongahela and Ohio rivers in a fifteen-foot rowboat. Featuring forty-four snapshots taken with Thwaites’s #2 Kodak, this exhibition tells the story of their trip.
